Higher Education Opportunity Act: Public Disclosures

The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA), contains numerous federal reporting and disclosure requirements. It was established to provide consumers with comparable information from all institutions of higher education.

This page provides a central guide to sources of consumer information, college policies and required disclosures. While it is managed by the Office of Institutional Research, please note that many links will direct to information elsewhere on the Kalamazoo College website. Please contact the related office directly to request further information or for any questions not answered by the provided online resources.

Program Integrity (student complaints)

The College encourages students and prospective students to initially address complaints related to consumer protection issues with personnel in the office or department that caused the alleged grievance. However, if an issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a complaint with the Office of Attorney General of the State of Michigan, Consumer Protection Division, P.O. Box 30213, Lansing, MI 48909-7713 or at https://www.michigan.gov/ag/.
