Thirty-five percent of Kalamazoo College students participate in intercollegiate athletics. The Hornet Athletic Association is the charitable giving program of Hornet Athletics. Designed to provide unrestricted support to address the evolving needs of the Athletics Department and its 18 intercollegiate programs, gifts to the fund have an immediate impact, enhancing the overall experience for student-athletes. Gifts of all size make a difference and level up our abilities to offer rewarding experiences for all student-athletes.

Division III student-athletes take both halves of the name seriously. They recognize that their studies are the true reason they are in college, and they commit to a team above and beyond their coursework because of a real passion for their sport. Kalamazoo College provides a balance of rigorous academics and competitive athletics as part of an individualized K-Plan.

Join the Hornet Athletic Association

As Kalamazoo College continues to grow our athletic programs, we hope you will support Hornet Athletics. Your gift may be unrestricted to help us meet the greatest needs of Hornet Athletics and allow us to address emerging priorities, or designate to an individual sport(s).

The Hornet Club

Donors who make an annual gift of $500 or more to the Hornet Athletic Association will join the Hornet Club. These leadership donors ensure that Hornet student-athletes have the best opportunities to hone their skills and compete in top-quality programs.

All Hornet Athletic Association donors will receive an electronic newsletter. Hornet Club donors will additionally receive an invitation to a Homecoming and Reunion Weekend reception. Kalamazoo College’s fiscal year runs July 1 through June 30.
