Nominate an Exceptional Student!

The President’s Student Ambassadors are talented students and an extension of President Gonzalez’s hospitality at College events and gatherings, welcoming alumni and guests and thanking donors. We are seeking nominations of exceptional first-year, sophomore and junior students to serve as President’s Student Ambassadors during the academic year.

The President’s Student Ambassadors are talented students who extend President Gonzalez’s hospitality at College events and gatherings by welcoming alumni and guests and thanking donors. Nominations of exceptional first-year, sophomore, and junior students are accepted year-round. Each spring term, nominated students are invited to complete an application to be considered for service as President’s Student Ambassadors during the upcoming academic year.

Representing K at Its Best

Our President’s Student Ambassadors (PSA) represent Kalamazoo College at its best. PSAs are outgoing and open, actively involved in student life on campus and engaged in the experiential opportunities available to K students. Responsibilities

  • Understand and abide by the College’s Honor System and the Kalamazoo College Student Code of Conduct.
  • Convey the positive energy and spirit of Kalamazoo College via strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability through academic life, student life and/or community engagements.
  • Participate in events both on- and off-campus with President Gonzalez and/or other campus community leaders.

Requirements

  • Must be a sophomore, junior or senior during their year of service.
    Note: Applications will not be accepted for students studying abroad or away in fall nor those who will complete the College’s credit requirements prior to June.
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Attend mandatory weekly meetings during the fall term, followed by bi-weekly meetings in the winter and spring terms (Wednesdays 11-11:45 a.m.).
