The work of the committee will be supported by Sarah Gillig, Provost’s Office; Karen Isble, Vice President for Advancement; and Sarah Frink, Director of College Marketing and Communication. I am grateful to each of these individuals for serving the College in this important, collaborative process. We expect the search to last through the fall, with the appointment of a new President announced in early 2026. The new president is expected to begin their tenure July 1, 2026.

Presidential Search website is now live. The website, along with periodic email updates, will be the primary source for information related to the search, and nominations or applications can be directed to KalamazooPresident@storbecksearch.com

As a reminder, as part of our commitment to fostering a process that values and considers input from across the K community, we are working with Storbeck Search to host a series of listening sessions that will take place on campus on May 15–16, 2025. These sessions are designed to gather your feedback on the qualities and characteristics we are seeking in the next president. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and be a part of the process. A Hornet Hive went out on April 21 with specific times for each cohort, and a reminder email will be forthcoming. If you are unable to make these sessions, there will also be a survey sent out in mid-May designed to gather your input.

We look forward to your participation as we go forth in this search.

Thank you, Jody Clark ’80
