As chair of the Presidential Search Committee, I am happy to share that we are making excellent progress with K’s presidential search and have officially kicked off the candidate recruitment phase—an exciting milestone in this process.

In May, students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, and members of our broader community shared their insights on the qualities and characteristics we seek in our next president through on-site listening sessions and an online survey. We are grateful to everyone who participated in this important work. The presidential prospectus—now complete—reflects your valuable insights and will continue to shape the committee’s evaluation of candidates.

Our partners at DSG Storbeck will be actively recruiting and reaching out to potential candidates throughout the summer. We invite you to recommend candidates who may be a strong fit; contact information is available on the Presidential Search website.

The committee anticipates reviewing and interviewing a highly qualified pool of candidates beginning late summer into the fall, with the goal of presenting a final candidate to the Board of Trustees toward the end of fall term.
