Don't Pick on Little Kids. Treyvan, age 10.

Treyvan’s slogan was “Don’t pick on little kids.” He drew two big kids picking on a small kid, with the big kid saying, “Give me your lunch money,” and the other big kid holding a stick. The little kid would say “No! Ouch!” in response. He gave the big kids certain physical characteristics by drawing Mohawks, evil eyes, and big muscles. “This way,” he said, “it shows that they are mean. Not like the little kid. The little kid is going to be little with no muscles.” Treyvan decided to give one of the big kids a stick because the figure was too far away from the other figures, and his arm would look disproportionately long. —Theresa Horn (Kalamazoo College student).
