Don't Fight Back or You Will Get Hurt From the Bully. Tim, age 10.

Tim’s slogan was “Don’t fight back or you will get hurt from the bully.” [The picture shows two figures on a soccer field. The bully is saying “Get back here!” The other child replies “No” and keeps a distance]. During our conversation, it was clear that Tim focused on the physical aspects of bullying and on its physical consequences. Bullies punched, people were hurt because of those punches, and bullies were suspended. This idea was carried through in his slogan.—Andrew Alexander (Kalamazoo College student).
