It Will Never End If You Start. Tess, age 10.

Tess’ slogan was “It will never end if you start.” Her picture has a bear pushing a dog, who is pushing a cat, who is pushing a bird, who is pushing a mouse, who is pushing an ant. All of the animals are standing on a hill. I asked Tess where the pushing started and she told me it started with the bear. At this point Raven (a classmate) interjected with, “But then the question is: What made the bear push the dog?” Tess said, “a hunter.” [This poster shows the chain reaction triggered by one act of aggression.]—Hilary Stratton (Kalamazoo College student).
