Robust marketing and communication

2021-22 Progress

  • Hired web content specialist and part-time writer to expand marketing capabilities.  
  • Redesigned and updated content within “Life at K” section of the College website to better market to prospective students; began work on Academics pages.

2020-21 Progress

  • Redesigned Admission marketing materials for fall 2021.

2019-20 Progress

  • Launched electronic version of LuxEsto.
  • Three issues of eLux were published in 2019-20.
  • Developed five-year marketing plan.

2018-19 Progress

  • Developing new five-year marketing plan.
  • Reorganized staff to hire assistant director of marketing and communication-admission and financial aid, as a two-year pilot.
  • Used survey results to modify Lux products; eliminated SummerLux; added third issue of LuxEsto; adding LuxEsto Online.
  • Launched refreshed and enhanced athletics webpage, hornets.kzoo.edu.
