The national\u202fsearch\u202fwill be conducted with a committee comprised of trustees, faculty, staff and students who were selected through a thoughtful and deliberative nomination process. I am grateful to each of these individuals for serving the College in this important, collaborative process.\u202fWe expect the&nbsp;search&nbsp;to last through the fall, with the appointment of a new President announced in early 2026. The new president is expected to begin their tenure July 1, 2026.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kzoo.edu\/presidentialsearch\/\">Presidential&nbsp;Search&nbsp;website<\/a>&nbsp;is now live. The website, along with periodic email updates, will be the primary source for information related to the&nbsp;search, and nominations or applications can be directed to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:KalamazooPresident@storbecksearch.com\">KalamazooPresident@storbecksearch.com<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a reminder, as part of our commitment to fostering a process that values and considers input from across the K community, we are working with Storbeck&nbsp;Search&nbsp;to host a series of listening sessions that will take place on campus on May 15\u201316, 2025. These sessions are designed to gather your feedback on the qualities and characteristics we are seeking in the next president. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and be a part of the process. A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hive.kzoo.edu\/2025\/04\/21\/save-the-date-listening-sessions-for-presidential-search\/\">Hornet&nbsp;Hive<\/a>&nbsp;went out on April 21 with specific times for each cohort, and a reminder email will be forthcoming.
