Tim Eastman \u201990<\/strong> is the new principal of Mattawan (Mich.) High School, about ten miles west of Kalamazoo. Tim spent more than 20 years as a teacher and principal (since 2002) at Hackett Catholic Prep in Kalamazoo. He has a master\u2019s degree from Western Michigan University.<\/p>\n

Sarah Lindley and “Exposure Pathways” (Allegan County News)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Sarah Lindley<\/strong>, associate professor of art, and some of her recent K art students needed an estimated 800-1,000 hours to assemble \u201cExposure Pathways,\u201d an art exhibit in Plainwell, Mich., north of Kalamazoo on view through July. The exhibit coincides with a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian called \u201cThe Way We Work.\u201d Read about Professor Lindley and her exhibit in the Allegan News<\/em>. Watch her talk about it on the Lori Moore Show<\/em>, a Kalamazoo-area television talk-show. AND listen to her talk about her exhibit on WMUK (102.1 FM) radio.<\/p>\n

Ed Menta<\/strong>, James A. B. Stone College Professor of Theatre, was a recent guest on \u201cThe Lori Moore Show\u201d television talk show to discuss Tony Award-winning playwright Lisa Kron \u201983<\/strong>, television stars Steven Yeun \u201905<\/strong> (The Walking Dead) and Jordan Klepper \u201910 <\/strong>(The Daily Show), and other K alumni who have gone on to successful careers in theatre, television, and film.<\/p>\n

Grace Lee Boggs<\/strong> recently celebrated her 100th<\/sup> birthday. The Detroit-based author, civil rights activist, and labor organizer received an honorary doctor of humane letters degree from K in 2007. She\u2019s visited campus numerous times in the past 10 years to meet with students, faculty, staff, and community members. \u201990<\/strong> is the new principal of Mattawan (Mich.) High School, about ten miles west of Kalamazoo. Tim spent more than 20 years as a teacher and principal (since 2002) at Hackett Catholic Prep in Kalamazoo. The Detroit-based author, civil rights activist, and labor organizer received an honorary doctor of humane letters degree from K in 2007. She\u2019s visited campus numerous times in the past 10 years to meet with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
