Hicks Center<br>Kalamazoo College <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This event is free and open to the public<\/strong> <strong>and all are welcome!<\/strong><br><em>No unauthorized signs or flyers are permitted at the event.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kristadalton.com\/\"><strong>D<\/strong>r.<strong> Krista Dalton<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>is an Associate Professor of Religious and Jewish Studies at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Her first book, entitled How Rabbis Became Experts (Princeton<br>University Press, 2025) analyzes the process by which the rabbis of late ancient Roman<br>Palestine became seen as religious experts in Jewish communities.
