Join President Gonzalez and Dr. Tricia Zelaya-Leon, Director of the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD), for a discussion about career preparation at K. Tricia will discuss the CCPD’s strategic plan, short and long term Center goals, the work they’ve done with and for students throughout the year, and how alumni can not only help students, but receive support from the Center.

About Dr. Tricia Zelaya-Leon
Dr. Zelaya-Leon leads the Center for Career and Professional Development, and ensures post-graduate student success by building and sustaining relationships with multiple campus constituents and College partners. She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University, and received her Master’s in Higher Education and her Bachelor’s in Spanish Education, both from Ohio University. Her teaching and research interests focus on student identity development theory, the second-year college experience, engaging students in transition, and infusing career preparation into the academic curriculum. Dr. Z loves sports (especially college football), singing karaoke, and spending time with her family.
