Hometown: Kalamazoo, MI
Favorite Food: My favorite food is cake batter ice cream. I could eat a tub of that stuff!
When in Kalamazoo, you must: Check out the Kalamazoo Nature Center. It is a nature preserve that has so many different hiking trails and educational programs. I used to go there all the time! It’s my favorite place to go!
Favorite Question from a Prospective Student: My favorite question from a prospective student is “What kind of clubs/student organizations do you have on campus?” I like that one because I am always excited to talk about all of the different ways students express themselves on campus. And I like sharing some of the more unusual clubs we have here, like our circus club or our Pokémon Go club.
Favorite College Memory: I am fond of my Day of Gracious Living memories. What’s not to like about having classes get cancelled? I will always remember going to South Haven with my friends and spending the day lounging on the beach or visiting the shops. It was a great way to spend the day and enjoy the beautiful.
Advice for Prospective students: My advice to prospective students is to connect with your counselor. I may seem bias saying this, but really it is the best way to get your questions answered as well as get more personalized information specific to your situation. The admission counselors at any college or university are resources for you. Use them.
