Erin Kelley joined the Office of Admission in 2016. Originally from Northville, Michigan, she earned her BA in Spanish Language and Literature from Kalamazoo College in 2008. While at K, she took advantage of the K-Plan with study abroad, work service programs, and a Senior Individual Project (SIP) researched abroad. After graduation, she spent several years teaching in Texas public schools and then working as a project manager at a translation company. In her free time she enjoys running with her dog, wakeboarding, and gardening.

Favorite Food: Any regional cuisine while traveling.

Favorite question from a prospective student: “Why K?” It gives me a chance to talk with each prospective student about a component of the K-Plan that will be uniquely interesting for them and their goals.
Favorite college memory: Study abroad; I had a wonderful host family, school cohort, and education-based service project.
Advice for prospective students: Try to imagine what career you might enjoy based on your interests, strengths, and what makes you happy. Remember: you don’t have to make up your mind now! Choose a school that will support your goals, while providing many opportunities to discover new interests as well.
