Non-Violence Student Organization
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Non-Violence Student Organization at Kalamazoo College is: To understand and combat violence in all its forms (physical, sexual, emotional, environmental, sociological, economic...) and the impact it has on society; to participate in awareness orientated activities in order to increase our understanding of different forms of non-violence; to explore our personal beliefs about violence and inequality through discussion and programming; to raise campus awareness and involvement in activities that will help free our community of violence.
