International Students Organization
Mission Statement:
The ISO of Kalamazoo College serves to foster support for international students while at the same time providing an environment for cross-cultural interaction for domestic students both before and after their exchange experiences. Through presentations and activities on and outside the campus, the organization intends to bring international awareness through speakers, international dances, progressive dinners, movie nights, and other activities. It will also introduce the American culture and way of life to the foreign students. Another function of the ISO is to help prepare Kalamazoo College students for foreign study. Of greatest help in this area are the foreign students themselves, who naturally are the "experts" on foreign countries. They can also help K students increase their language proficiency.
