Association for Computing Machinery
Mission Statement:
1. Promote
awareness of Kalamazoo's Computer Science program in the Kalamazoo College community
2. Provide information about internships, jobs, grad schools, and career opportunities
in Computer Science to students
3. Help students interested in Computer Science learn more about the field
4. Foster the exchange of ideas among students, and between established professionals
and students
5. Help develop relationships between faculty and students, also between older
and younger students interested in Computer Science, in a setting outside the
classroom
6. Create an avenue for students to keep up to date with developments in the
industry
7. Provide guest lectures, visit other schools' Computer Science departments,
and have fun Computer Science activities for members
8. Commuinicate with other chapters of ACM
