Asian-American Student Association
Mission Statement:
The Asian Student Association and its house are dedicated to the preservation and understanding of Asian diversity, culture and values. We believe that the organization will work to develop an intercultural bridge among the students built on the foundations of cultural awareness, education and understanding. Every year our organization has grown, not just in population, but also interest in learning about Asian Culture. One of our principle goals’ is to develop relationships between members that are much more intimate than in a normal dormitory setting. The developments of these relationships are essential for many students who suffer from the bi-cultural dichotomy that represents the “Asianees” and “Americanees” in their lives.
