"The
best part about working in Student Development here at Kalamazoo
College is the interaction we have with our students every
day. When we see the K students, we have an amazing opportunity
as administrators and educators to challenge the students
to question, to think, and to act in ways that are befitting
the strong character that they develop in their time here.
The collegiate experience is for everyone a chance to face
the challenges of life and academia and to become movers
and shakers in the world beyond our campus lawn and building
walls. We are in the business of empowering students, encouraging
them to confront and address issues they see, and to hold
themselves and others accountable to a higher standard.
That is what we strive for, each and every day."
