Student Development Staff

Karen L. Joshua-Wathel has a B.S. and an M.A. from Western Michigan University.  Mrs. Joshua-Wathel accepted the Associate Dean of Students position here in 1999 with the responsibility to help us continue to serve students of color and address as a community the issues of diversity.  She brings to this position experience as Associate Director, Office of Minority Affairs, Grand Valley State University, Career/College Specialist Manager, Detroit Compact, as well as a strong student development background.
