Social
Policies and Regulations: Vandalism and Theft
Accepting
Environmental Responsibility is the fourth principle of our
Honor System, and it affirms respect for the property of the
College and others in this way:
| |
"To
maintain and improve the condition of our physical environment,
we commit ourselves to the respectful and prudent stewardship
of our community's material and natural resources." |
|
Vandalism,
theft, malicious destruction, unintended damage as the result
of pranks, extraordinary cleaning, damage and theft that occurs
as a result of intoxication and or drug use, or receiving
and possessing the property of the College or others is antithetical
to this principle and is prohibited.
Violations
of this policy will also be construed as violations of the
Honor System, and as such will warrant serious sanctions.
Violators will be subject to the full range of sanctions available
to the College, including but not limited to restitution,
probation, removal from housing, suspension, and expulsion.
