Social
Policies and Regulations: Personal Responsibility
and Accountability for College Policies and Regulations
In
order to work together as a community, all community members must
willingly abide by its regulations and be
accountable for their actions toward and within the community.
The following actions constitute a breech of this
responsibility and may result in action under the Student Conduct
Code:
- Failure
to respond to administrative communication on a violation of
College policy
- Disruption
or interference with the orderly conduct of an administrative
or panel hearing
- Institution
of a conduct complaint or charge without cause
- Falsification,
distortion, or misrepresentation in any verbal or written communication
before a faculty member, an administrative official, or a hearing
panel.
- Harassment
or intimidation of any participant, witness, or hearing panel
member prior to, during, or following any conduct hearing.
- Failure
to comply with or complete the sanctions assigned as the result
of any College hearing.
- Failure
to cooperate with any College official, including, but not limited
to Security or residence staff, in the performance of their
duties.
- Possession
of false identification, failure
to provide appropriate identification when requested by a College
official, or the presentation of false identification to any
College official.
