Student Life : College Dining Services

Sodexho Dining Services provides meal service for the College. All students in college housing (except living/learning units and co-ops) are required to carry a meal plan. The New Welles Cafeteria, a common dining facility, is located in Hicks Center. A snack bar, the Quad Stop, is also in Hicks Center.

Students may choose one of the following three meal plans:

Carte Blanche: 15 Plus: 10 Plus:
• unlimited entrance to the dining facility throughout the day • choice of any 15 meals per week in the dining facility
• choice of any 10 meals per week in the dining facility
• $15/term Munch Money to use in the Quad Stop or the cafeteria • $25/term Munch Money to use in the Quad Stop or the cafeteria • $35/term Munch Money to use in the Quad Stop or the cafeteria

Meals are served from the opening day of a quarter through the examination period of a quarter. Hours for each meal are posted by the entrance to the dining facility. Students must present their picture ID for access to the dining facility. It is a violation of College policy to use the ID of another student. The privilege of using this dining service may be denied for gross misbehavior in the dining facility or for continued violation of dining service rules and policies.

Commuting students may purchase full meal plans or purchase meal tickets at the Dining Service office in Hicks.

The directors of the dining service welcome suggestions and comments about the meal service and a comment board is available at the exit door of the facility. Quarterly student surveys are key communication avenues used by the staff to respond to needs and concerns of the students.
