ALBION - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team finished fifth at the 2000 MIAA Women's Tennis Tournament with 43 points and maintained its fifth place position in the final league standings.

Maureen Coyle, Paige Foley, Whitney Mernitz, and Erin Lee each finished in fifth place in their respective flights. Tina Borlaza and Jodi Kite each finished sixth. The doubles teams of Coyle/Foley and Mernitz/Borlaza each finished fifth, while the team of Kite/Lee captured fourth place in three doubles.

Senior Maureen Coyle was selected to the All-MIAA second team.
