September 12, 2000 - Kalamazoo College at Saint Mary's College (Ind.)

The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team won its MIAA opener 5-0 at Saint Mary's College (Ind.) today.

The Hornet offense dominated play as they outshot the host Belles 24-1. Lydia Raburn led the way with two goals and three assists. Adrienne Beller recorded the shutout in 90 minutes in goal.

Kalamazoo improves to 3-1-1 on the season, and 1-0 in the MIAA. The Hornets return to action on Saturday, Sept. 16 when they host Heidelberg College at noon.
