Kristyn Buhl Named to All-MIAA Women's Golf Team
Kristyn Buhl, a freshman golfer from Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile High School),
is one of six golfers to be recognized as first team All-MIAA (Michigan
Intercollegiate Athletic Association) for the 2000 season.
Buhl ranked fifth in the MIAA with an average of 87.4 strokes per round.
She helped lead the Hornets to a fifth place finish in the league, up from
seventh a year ago.
Buhl is only the second women’s golfer in Kalamazoo College history to
be named to the All-MIAA team. She joins Julie McQueen who received the
honor in 1992.
