Women's Basketball continues winning ways at Olivet

The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team improved to 11-2 on the season and 4-1 in the MIAA by defeating Olivet College 72-55 today at Olivet.

After trailing 21-12 with six minutes remaining in the first half, Kalamazoo went on a 13-5 run to enter halftime trailing 26-25. The Hornets shot 49 percent in the second half and outscored the Comets 47-29 en route to their eighth straight win.

Lindsay Drury led Kalamazoo with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Amanda Weishuhn added 13 points and eight offensive rebounds. Amanda Combe scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Jasmin MacAlpine had five assists.

Kalamazoo travels to Hope College on Wednesday at 7:30.
