2006-07 Kalamazoo College Women's Basketball

LOS ANGELES - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 82-45 to host Occidental College in the consolation game of the Tiger/Poet Classic. Occidental led 49-23 at halftime.

Kalamazoo shot just 25.9 percent from the field whil Occidental shot 41.3 percent and made 10-of-28 three-pointers. Occidental held a 51-47 rebounding edge.

Nyemade Cooper led Kalamazoo with 11 points and seven rebounds. Sara Lappen scored 10 points.

Kalamazoo returns to action at home on Saturday, Dec. 30 against Wooster.
