2006-07 Kalamazoo College Women's Basketball

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 73-51 at Franklin College on Saturday. Franklin, which improved to 4-0 with the win, led 35-20 at halftime.

Kalamazoo shot just 27.3 percent from the field (15-55) while Franklin shot 51.6 percent (32-62). Kalamazoo was 19-of-27 at the free throw line. Franklin held a 42-31 rebounding advantage.

Nyemade Cooper led Kalamazoo with 15 points and four rebounds. Allie Oosta scored nine points with six rebounds off the bench.

Courtney Swain led four Franklin players in double figures with 19 points.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Monday, Dec. 4 at Oberlin College.
