2006-07 Kalamazoo College Women's Basketball

CHICAGO - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 83-52 to Buena Vista University in the consolation game of the Midway Classic. Kalamazoo trailed 49-26 at halftime.

Kalamazoo shot just 30.4 percent and went 0-for-9 from three-point range. Buena Vista shot 43.3 percent and made 7-of-22 three-pointers. Kalamazoo turned the ball over 33 times in the game while Buena Vista had just 19 turnovers.

Kelsea Howell led Kalamazoo with 20 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Nyemade Cooper scored 11 points with 10 rebounds.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Tuesday at home against Earlham College at 6 p.m.
