ANGOLA, Ind. - The women's basketball team fell 88-79 at Tri-State on Wednesday. Tri-State led 45-39 at halftime.

The Hornets shot 56.4 percent from the field but turned the ball over 34 times. Tri-State shot 37.3 percent with 12-of-41 three-pointers. Tri-State also held a 43-36 rebounding edge.

Ashley Riley led the Hornets with 28 points and 13 rebounds. Jeny Layne scored 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting off the bench.

Tricia Eddy led Tri-State with 20 points.
