GRAND RAPIDS - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 58-46 at Calvin on Saturday. Calvin led 29-16 at halftime.
Calvin shot 42.1 percent from the field while holding Kalamazoo to 31.4 percent. Kalamazoo had 24 turnovers while Calvin had 17. Kalamazoo held a 40-33 rebounding advantage.
Ashley Riley led the Hornets with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Mary Brown added nine points and nine rebounds.
Kim Wolthuis led Calvin with 17 points. Lisa Nanninga finished with 13 for the Knights.
