
KALAMAZOO - The women's basketball team rolled to a 69-43 win over Saint Mary's on Saturday. Kalamazoo led 32-18 at halftime.
The Hornets shot 51 percent from the field while holding the Belles to 33.3 percent. Kalamazoo held a 32-30 rebounding advantage, and scored 33 points off 25 Saint Mary's turnovers.
Amanda Weishuhn led Kalamazoo with 18 points. Vanessa Larkin scored 16 points and was 4-of-5 from three-point range. Alissa Johnston added 10 points. Ashley Riley scored eight points with a team-high seven rebounds.
Katie Miller led Saint Mary's (5-16 / 1-9 MIAA) with 10 points. Maureen Bush had a game-high 10 rebounds.
Kalamazoo (13-7 / 7-3 MIAA) travels to Adrian College on Wednesday.
