GRAND RAPIDS - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 69-61 at Calvin on Saturday. Calvin led 33-32 at halftime.
Calvin shot 48.9 percent from the field while holding Kalamazoo to just 32.1 percent shooting. Each team had 34 rebounds and 17 turnovers.
Vanessa Larkin led Kalamazoo with 20 points. Amanda Weishuhn added 16 points and five rebounds. Alissa Johnston scored 14 points.
Tricia Dyk led Calvin with 17 points. Rita Ouwinga scored 16 points. Andrea MacDonald had a team-high 10 rebounds for the Knights (12-7 / 3-5 MIAA).
Kalamazoo (11-7 / 5-3 MIAA) hosts Alma on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
