Women's Basketball Wins at CalvinMaryJane Valade led Kalamazoo with 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting. She also pulled down seven rebounds. Amanda Weishuhn finished with 15 points and five rebounds. Alissa Johnston added eight points and five rebounds. Lindsay Drury had a team-high eight rebounds. Calvin's Jennifer Plakmeyer led all scorers with 27 points. She was 9-of-13 from the field including 5-of-7 from three-point range and 4-of-4 at the line. Emily Beard had a game-high 10 rebounds. Kalamazoo shot 41.8 percent while holding Calvin to 32.1 percent. The Hornets were 9-of-12 at the line. Calvin was 13-of-22 at the line. Kalamazoo held a 37-35 rebounding advantage. Kalamazoo improves to 13-6 (5-4 MIAA) with the win. Calvin falls to 9-10 (4-5 MIAA). |
