April 24, 2001 vs. Alma College (MIAA Doubleheader)

KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo College softball team lost both games of a doubleheader to league-leading Alma College on Tuesday.

Emery Engers (9-8) took the loss in the first game. Alicia Dicks, Dawn Todd and Elli Toskey each had singles for Kalamazoo.

Elli Toskey (2-12) suffered the loss in the second game despite allowing no earned runs. Meredith Dodson and Sarah Martyn had the only hits for the Hornets.

Kalamazoo is now 11-21-1 overall and 4-8 in the MIAA. Alma is 27-8 overall and tied for first in the MIAA with a record of 11-1. The Hornets return to action on Wednesday when they host Saint Mary's College at 3:30 p.m.
