Fort Myers, Fla. - The Hornets won the first game of the day 2-1 over Bethel College (Minn.). The second game was even closer and actually resulted in an 8-8 tie after eight innings. Kalamazoo's record is now 2-3-1 on the season.

Emery Engers earned her second win of the season in the 2-1 victory over Bethel. The Hornets scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The Hornets battled to an 8-8 tie in the second game with Mass-Dartmouth. Kalamazoo led 6-2 entering the bottom of the seventh but Dartmouth rallied with four runs to send it into extra innings. Each team scored two runs in the extra frame and the game ended in a tie.
