Softball drops doubleheader to Calvin

Meredith Dodson was 3-for-3 in game two against Calvin today.

KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo College softball team lost both games of a doubleheader to Calvin College today by scores of 5-2 and 6-1.

Shauna Sage had two of Kalamazoo's five hits in game one. Tonia Yoder and Teri Fox each had RBI's. Emery Engers struck out three and walked none while allowing only two earned runs in the loss.

Meredith Dodson was 3-for-3 to lead the Hornets in game two. Teri Fox had the lone RBI on a double in the first inning.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to play its final home doubleheader of the season on Tuesday, May 2nd, at 3:30 when they host Hillsdale College.
