
Softball drops two on TuesdayKalamazoo was only able to put four hits on the board against Chicago but were aided by eight walks. Nisse Olsen capped a six-run sixth inning with a two-RBI single. The Hornets committed five errors in the game which allowed five unearned runs. Shauna Sage suffered the loss with two walks and two strikeouts. Game two was tied 3-3 after six innings when Massachusetts capitalized on a combination of three walks, six hits, and an error to score seven runs in the top of the seventh. Emery Engers took the loss, walking six and striking out three. Offensively, Engers was 3-3 with two runs scored. Dawn Todd had a double and two RBI's.
