Kalamazoo College Soccer Players Earn MIAA Honors
Kalamazoo College soccer players Brett Stinar and Kim Hartman were
named MIAA Men’s and Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for their efforts
last week.
Brett Stinar, a freshman from Canton (Plymouth Salem HS), scored three
goals as the Hornets went 2-0-1 in conference games last week. Stinar is
tied for the league lead with four goals.
Kim Hartman, a sophomore from Shelby Township (Utica Eisenhower), tied
the MIAA and Kalamazoo College record with four assists in a game as the
Hornets defeated Alma College 10-0 on Saturday. Earlier in the week she
scored a goal as Kalamazoo defeated Hope 3-0. Hartman is second in the
MIAA with five assists.
Kalamazoo College is a national liberal arts college and creator and
home of the K-Plan. Kalamazoo College students shape elements of
