Kalamazoo advances to the quarterfinals of the NCAA III Championships
next Friday-Sunday, May 17-19, at the University of California-Santa Cruz.
Match Notes: Kalamazoo took a 1-0 lead after sweeping the three doubles
matches. Kyle Harding won the first singles match to give Kalamazoo a 2-0
lead. Washington then won at three and four singles to even the score at
2-2. Matt Harding then won at six singles for Kalamazoo. Kent Dolbee secured
the win for Kalamazoo with a win at five singles. At two singles, Max Schlather
had won the opening set 7-6 over Jeff Keen.
