2000 NCAA III Championships
March 16-18, 2000


Final - Kalamazoo finished in 12th place with 91 points. Kenyon won the event with 670.5 points. Jeff Gorton won the national championship in the three-meter dive and set a meet record with 577.05. He was also named NCAA Division III Diver of the Year. Coach Ron Bramble was named Diving Coach of the Year.

Day Two - The Hornets remain in 12th place after day two with 71 points. Kenyon leads with 436.6 points. The 800 Free Relay team of Steve Domin, Jeff Kamai, Evan Whitbeck, and J.D. Schneider earned All-America honors with a sixth place finish. Whitbeck and Nicholas Duda placed 11th and 12th, respectively, in the 400 IM and earned honorable mention All-American recognition.

Day One - Kalamazoo is in 12th place after the first day of competition with 34 points. Kenyon leads the event with 207.5 points. Jeff Gorton successfully defended the national championship and earned All-American honors in the one-meter dive with a score of 510.05 (520.00 prelims). Tim Ullrey placed ninth in the one-meter event. J.D. Schneider (500 Freestyle) and Steve Domin (50 Freestyle) join Ullrey as honorable mention All-Americans.
