December 1-2, 2000 - Eastern Michigan University Invitational
YPSILANTI - The Kalamazoo College men's swimming and diving team finished second out of seven teams from all divisions at the Eastern Michigan University Invitational this weekend.
The Hornets also broke four school records in the meet. J.D. Schneider (Soph., Brentwood, Tenn.) set two school records. His 1:41.13 in the 200 freestyle broke his previous mark of 1:42.38 set last year. His time of :46.60 in the 100 freestyle broke the previous record of :46.84 which was set in 1995. Steve Domin (Jr., Livonia/Stevenson) swam the 50 freestyle in :20.95, breaking the previous mark of :21.04 which he set last season. Two relay teams also set new records. A time of 3:07.41 in the 400 free relay broke the old mark of 3:08.55.
