CHICAGO - Ross Bower scored the game's only goal late in the second half as Kalamazoo College defeated Wheaton College 1-0 in the NCAA III Great Lakes Region semi-final. Nick Carlin-Voigt preserved the shutout with seven saves in goal.

Kalamazoo will face Ohio Wesleyan at 1:00 CT on Saturday for the regional championship. Ohio Wesleyan defeated Chicago 3-1 earlier this afternoon.

This is the sixth time that the Hornets have been involved in the NCAA Tournament, and only the second time they have won a match. In 1988 Kalamazoo defeated Ohio Wesleyan 3-2 in a shootout before falling to Wheaton 1-0 in overtime.
