ALMA - Kalamazoo and Alma battled to a 1-1 tie in a key MIAA men's soccer contest this afternoon.

Kalamazoo's Matt Poniatowski struck first with a goal with 17:38 left in the second half. Alma tied the match with just 1:35 left in regulation with a goal by Jeremiah Roberts. Two fifteen minute overtime periods resulted in no additional scoring.

Kalamazoo is 3-0-1 in the MIAA while Alma is 2-0-1.
