The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team won its season opener 3-2 over Wabash College today. The match was tied 1-1 at halftime. Kalamazoo took a 3-1 advantage in the second half. The game-winning goal was a David Lively header off the foot of Andrew Upward.

Head Coach Hardy Fuchs captured the 299th win of his career. He looks to earn number 300 on Sunday when the Hornets square off with DePauw University (at Wabash) at 2 p.m..
