Three Men's Soccer Players Earn All-Region Honors

Three Kalamazoo College men's soccer players were selected to the Adidas NCAA III All-Great Lakes Region Team as selected by the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America).

Ross Bower, a sophomore forward from Ann Arbor (Pioneer HS), was selected to the first team and will be eligible for all-america honors. Bower, a two-time All-MIAA first team selection, was the only MIAA player selected to the first team. He had 12 goals and eight assists this season.

John Evans and David Dwaihy were selected to the all-region second team. Evans, a junior sweeper from Eastport (Petoskey HS), was recognized with All-MIAA first team honors this season as one of the top defensive players in the league. He was also selected as an MIAA Player of the Week. Dwaihy, a midfielder from Grosse Pointe Woods (Grosse Pointe North), is a two-time All-MIAA first team selection. He led the Hornets with nine assists this season. Dwaihy was also named to the all-region second team last year.

Kalamazoo, coached by Hardy Fuchs, finished the season 14-3-1 and won the MIAA with an 11-0-1 record.
