Kalamazoo falls at Olivet

Brad Phillips had a team-high 22 points in a loss at Olivet tonight.

Kalamazoo led 30-28 at halftime. The Hornets were outrebounded 42-41 while committing five more turnovers than Olivet (20-15). Kalamazoo shot 40 percent for the game. Olivet shot 37 percent.

Brad Phillips led Kalamazoo with 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting. Adam Verseput and Nick DeYoung each scored 12 points. Verseput grabbed nine rebounds and blocked five shots while DeYoung pulled down five rebounds. Dirk Rhinehart had four assists.

Kalamazoo falls to 10-11 overall (4-7 MIAA). The Hornets host Albion College on Saturday at 7:30.
