Men's Basketball falls to Hope

The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost to Hope College tonight, 66-54.

The Hornets opened up the game with a 9-0 run before falling behind midway through the first half. Hope led 29-24 at halftime.

Hope shot 43 percent from the field while holding Kalamazoo to a dismal 31 percent (17-55) shooting. Rebounding was even at 41 each.

Brad Phillips and Adam Verseput led Kalamazoo with eight points a piece. Verseput also pulled down nine rebounds.

Kalamazoo will host Olivet College on Saturday at 3:00.
